I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a camera – I’ve had one ever since I was a child and continuing my fascination with photography by going to college seemed only natural: back in the 80's I studied photography at Newcastle College of Arts and then went to Gloucester College of Art to study Advertising and Editorial Photography, eventually setting up my own successful general photography business.
Thirty-something years later and my love of photography is as strong as ever. I work photographing properties of all types every day of the week. I simply specialise in what I love doing, which is interior, architectural and food photography mainly for hotels, guest houses and holiday cottages.
My other great passion is property: fifteen years ago I bought my own holiday cottage in the Scottish Borders and it then became apparent that good photography was an essential part of any successful website.
Over the years, I have photographed hundreds of properties and interiors of all shapes and sizes. I love the challenge of setting the scene correctly, paying attention to detail, as well as mastering the latest digital equipment and post production digital editing facilities. Its all essential to help to show your property look its very best. Interiors, with their confined spaces and uneven light sources can be particularly challenging for even the most competent photographer. I like to think that I have the required skill, patience and experience to create beautiful interior photographs. I have studied the booking figures for holiday properties and hotels, both before professional photographs were used and afterwards and the difference is easy to see. I sincerely believe that my photography will enhance the attraction of your service.

The influential Houzz website gave me the award for 'Best Interior Photographer' 2016, with further awards in 2017, 2018, 2019,2020 and again in 2021.
