Google Virtual Tours

I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work with Google and I have been accredited as one of their Google Trusted Photographers. My association with Google combined with my background in interior and architectural photography now means that I can offer Google Virtual Tours, which helps businesses to enhance their online presence in Google Search, Google Maps and their Google+ Local Listing. To put it simply, your business will get high-profile exposure on the world’s most popular search engine allowing you to stand out from your competitors.

A Google Virtual Tour uses Street View Technology that is tried and tested. It works on desktops, laptops, tablets and phones; your customers can see inside your business from pretty much any device.
Google Virtual Tours is an exciting new online marketing initiative using the same technology as Google StreetView. It allows customers who find you on Google to take a fully interactive, 360° virtual 'walk-through' of your business. This really brings your business to life and allows you to showcase your business in incredible detail. Your potential customers can walk around and interact and explore your business and really experience what its all about. Your Virtual Tour can also be embedded into your business Website, Blog and Facebook page with links easily sent via Twitter etc.

How it works.
The first thing to do is to arrange an appointment with me to photograph your business. The virtual tour is produced by photographing your business using specialist photographic equipment, combined with Google’s very clever software which results in an interactive tour. The visit to your premises takes approximately 60-90 minutes and its very unobtrusive so your business can remain open while this is being carried out.
I then handle the rest of the process and ensure that the virtual tour is produced quickly and uploaded onto the relevant Google websites. Once your Google Virtual Tour appears on Google maps, I will send you the relevant codes so that you can embed your tour on to your website and social media sites.

One of the biggest benefits of a Google Virtual Tour is being able to accurately show off your business to a potential customer. They can really get a feel for the atmosphere and décor in your restaurant or take a good look at the equipment and facilities in your gym or perhaps wander around the function rooms and bedrooms at your hotel – all without leaving the comfort of their home. This can be used as a terrific marketing device when dealing with enquiries: you can simply say ‘Take a look at my Google Virtual Tour and see what we do’. Its your chance to allow them to really experience your business.
Another huge benefit is the high-profile enhanced exposure on the world’s most popular search engine allowing you to stand out from your competitors. This alone will make a noticeable difference to your website hits.
I will also take a good selection of photographs to show off the highlights of your business. A choice of these will be made available at no extra charge to you and these can be used to help advertise your service. Its a very inexpensive way to get professional photographs taken of your business!

There is just one price for the whole process – there are no ongoing fees after this is paid.
The fee for a standard Google Virtual Tour is £250. The price will increase for tours of larger premises -please contact me for an exact price in these circumstances.

This video from Google focuses on two UK businesses and lets the owners explain how a Google Virtual Tour has helped them.
It is interesting to see how two totally different businesses have benefited from the service in different ways.
Letting your customers see inside and feel the ambience of the surroundings can be areally important and extremely beneficial part of your marketing.
